Harris blasts Trump’s reported praise of Hitler as ‘troubling’ and ‘dangerous’

This isn't a game people. This isn't normal. We're experiencing a coup-genocide. We fall for it, Americans won't recover. The Russian Mafia will slaughter us. We're less than two weeks away from being out-competed. We need voters to understand our reality and to vote to help survive.

Below is a speech Vice President Harris gave on 10/23/2024 in response to General Kelly’s revelations in a New York Times  article titled ("As Election Nears, Kelly Warns Trump Would Rule Like a Dictator," Michael S. Schmidt (10/22/2024)). In the article, General Kelly discussed Trump’s admiration for Hitler stated more than once, Trump's expressed contempt for disabled veterans and had characterized those who died on the battlefield as "losers" and "suckers." General Kelly was Trump’s longest serving Chief of Staff during his presidency. Vice President's Harris's speech are the following three short paragraphs:

“Yesterday we learned that Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, John Kelly, a retired 4 star general confirmed that while Donald Trump was President, he said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had. Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally. One that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States. In just the past week Donald Trump has repeatedly called his fellow Americans ‘the enemy from within.’ And even said that he would use the United States military to go after American citizens. And let’s be clear about who he considers to be ‘the enemy from within.’ Anyone who refuses to bend a knee or dares to criticize him would qualify in his mind as ‘the enemy within.’ Like judges, like journalists, like nonpartisan election officials. It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, the man who’s responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans."

"All of this is further evidence for the American people of who Donald Trump really is. This is a window into who Donald Trump really is, from the people who know him best. From the people who worked with him side-by-side in the Oval Office and in the Situation Room. And it is clear from John Kelly’s words that Donald Trump is someone who, I quote, “certainly falls into the general definition of fascist.” Who in fact vowed to be a dictator on Day 1 and vowed to use the military as his personal militia to carry out his personal and political vendettas. Donald Trump is increasingly unhinged and unstable. And in a second term people like John Kelly would not be there to be the guardrails against his propensities and his actions. Those who once tried to stop him from pursing his worse impulses would no longer be there. And no longer be there to reign him in."

"So the bottom line is this: we know what Donald Trump wants. He wants unchecked power. The question in 13 days will be: what do the American people want. Thank you.”

In a CNN town hall on 10/23/2024, Vice President Harris called former President Trump a “fascist” and cited Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly’s comments.

Anderson Cooper: “Do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?”

Kamala Harris (KH): “Yes I do. Yes I do. And I also believe that the people who know him best on this subject should be trusted.”

KH: “Today we learned that John Kelly, a 4 star marine general, who was his longest serving Chief of Staff gave an interview recently, in the last two weeks of this election, talking about how dangerous Donald Trump is. And I think one has to think about “why would someone who served with him, who is not political, a 4 star marine general, why is he telling the American people now? And frankly I think of it as ... as he’s just putting out a 911 call to the American people. Understand what could happen if Donald Trump were back in the White House. And this time we must take very seriously those folks who knew him best, and who were career people, are not gonna be there to hold him back. At least before there were folks, who we know what he would say, but they would restrain him. Imagine now Donald Trump, in the Oval Office, in the Situation Room, he who has openly admired dictators, said he would be a dictator on Day 1. The former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff that said he is a fascist to the core.”

What is fascism?

Fascism is a far-right, one party government controlled by one man: a king without an officially designated kingdom. In the case of Donald Trump who’s allegedly owned by Putin, it would mean Putin owns our Presidency, our country and us. Putin already controls the majority in our Supreme Court and individuals in our Congress. That's why we can't get anything done, the Russian Mafia and Putin have seized partial control of our government and our people. If we let him steal our Presidency, it's over for Americans. I know people want change. They want change because Putin and before him the Soviet Union have been deeply embedded here, covertly attacking civilians. Ordinary people have no idea that a mafia on the other side of the world is in Americal, has seized control of many of our businesses, institutions and families, but that's what the Russian Mafia has done. People are miserable not only because they've been illegally entrapped and their families destroyed but because the Putin has made it his business to make people in America as miserable as possible in order to manipulate us into overthrowing our government for the one Putin will install, via the proKremlin administration. Don't be a chump. Don't vote for Trump. If I'm not even lying. We're so close to Holocaust, I can smell it.

Why is that bad?

Putin loathes Americans, has worked since he came to power to destroy us and our democracy. He will slaughter us. While smiling. The Israel-Hamas War is a proxy war ordered by Putin, to manipulate swing voters in America to vote for Trump. See the bombing and devastation Putin is doing to Palestinians and Lebanese via it’s proxy the Israeli government. See the 1200 Israelis murdered and the 250 kidnapped by Putin’s proxy Hamas? Those are ‘love taps' compared to what Putin has in store for us. Vote for Harris-Walz. To live. She knows who and what Putin is. She'll defend us. Voting for her and Walz will give us more time to decide what to do. While you're at it, vote for Democrats down ticket. Otherwise, Harris and Walz will get in Putin's quicksand, known as the divided Congress.

Vice President Harris said “I believe that Donald Trump is dangerous. As the President of the United States, the commander in chief, he’s saying to his generals, in essence, why can’t you be more like Hitler’s generals.…”

“The American people deserve to have a president who encourages healthy debate, works across the aisle, [is] not afraid of good ideas, where ever they come from, but also maintains certain standards about how we think about the role and the responsibility and certainly not comparing oneself in a clearly admiring way to Hitler.”
