New Russian Warfare: the Basics - published July 3, 2025

Americans, many other innocent peoples worldwide, and all non-human life on earth, are under attack by Putin and the Russian Mafia. West-allied nations, our allies, and innocent, impoverished people worldwide who’s nations have resources Putin and the Russian Mafia covet, are experiencing an undeclared coup-genocide, an undeclared war that Putin and the Russian Mafia call New Russian Warfare. It is a psychological warfare-based weapon new to our species which our species has not yet learned to counter. In this series of blogs I explain how the weapon works so people can better defend themselves.

In 1950 a weapon called Active Measures was built and deployed against American civilians by the former Soviet Union. The weapon seizes control of our species by covertly attacking our hierarchy and chain-of-command structures, which are hard-wired into us and passed to us in our genes. Most people don’t know humans are hard-wired so don’t know we’re vulnerable to this type of attack or know how the weapon works. It works by entrapping authority figures i.e. parents and forcing them to work as proxies for the Russian Mafia. Authority figures usually don’t know their handlers are controlled by Putin and the Russian Mafia. In America entrapped authority figures i.e. parents, are told our legitimate government has entrapped them. That’s a lie. Having accepted a confidential plea deal to stay out of prison that allows them to retain custody of their children, which confidential plea deal prevents them from reaching out to legitimate government officials, tens of millions of innocent people in America, and probably many millions more worldwide, are covertly enslaved by Putin and the Russian Mafia. Putin and the Russian Mafia embrace slavery as their organizational and political model for our species, with women as sex slaves and baby producers, barefoot and pregnant, not allowed to be educated. Putin sees himself as god in human form over our species. His hubris is a direct result of the success of New Russian Warfare. If we keep refusing to check him, Putin and the Russian Mafia will extinct life on earth.

In 1950s America, the Soviet Union began covertly targeting civilians, women, children, and our government at the local, state and federal levels, as well as our businesses, institutions and agencies. Active Measures is a “whole-culture” weapon, designed to destroy cultures the Soviet Union wanted destroyed. Because American laws, and the world’s laws (1949 Geneva Convention) prohibit foreign enemy belligerents from attacking civilians, women and children, Active Measures is an undeclared war, meaning civilians worldwide, and their governments, had no way to know they were under attack and so no way to defend themselves. The war was a secret attack against our entire society but initially focused against Americans of color and immigrants of color, to work out the kinks and also because the wider society ignores complaints from lower status people. This isn’t classism: it’s a hard-wiring glitch the Soviet Union, the Russian Mafia and Putin exploit to destroy us. 

Bombed nations don’t think of it this way, but it’s an advantage to be bombed. The overt attack triggers a defense but when people are covertly attacked, no defense is triggered. That’s why Americans and millions of other covertly attacked innocent people worldwide are confused. Most people know something is wrong, but don’t see or understand the threat and who’s behind it. Putin and the Russian Mafia are responsible for the deterioration of humanity from the late 1990s to the present, i.e. the world’s overheating, the floods, the drought, the coups, the mass murders, the starvation, the covert slaughter of unknown numbers of people, most of them children and brown, etc., are the work of Putin and the Russian Mafia. Before Putin came to power, the Soviet Union was responsible for destabilizing nations worldwide and blaming Americans for what the Soviet Union had wrought. Post-WW2 history is largely lies propagated by the Soviet Union and later Putin and the Russian Mafia. The Soviet Union seized control of America’s media since the 1960s. Putin and the Russian Mafia have increasingly controlled the world’s media for decades. 

Putin and the Russian Mafia inherited Active Measures, greatly expanded it, and renamed it New Russian Warfare.  Having now used New Russian Warfare to flip the world order and destroy American democracy, Putin and the Russian Mafia, by their success, have made themselves a threat to all life on earth, and to earth habitability.  To flip the world order in Putin’s lifetime, the former Soviet Union, Putin and the Russian Mafia deliberately and knowingly destabilized earth’s climate. They did so because Russia has an abundance of petroleum-based products they weaponized to gain access to targeted nations and governments. Often their petroleum-based products are sold on the cheap to nations wanting to grow and expand, to transition from impoverished nations to financially stable ones. After the Soviet Union and later Putin and the Russian Mafia entered the nation in legitimate deals (before the legitimate deals (the Russian Mafia was already in the country illegitimately and illegally), the Soviet Union, and later Putin and the Russian Mafia unleashed New Russian Warfare against the government, the nation and it’s civilians. BRICS nations are enslaved nations owned by Putin and the Russian Mafia. Without a cheap, desirable product to offer the world, and without control of the world’s media propagandizing wealth as the be-all and end-all of human existence, the Soviet Union and later Putin and the Russian Mafia would’ve been unable to flip the world order in 75 years, from 1950 to 2025.  

In the 1960s when the Soviet Union (and later Putin), learned that petroleum-based products were degrading our climate, the Soviet Union and Putin buried that intel from the world’s civilians because they knew the world’s civilians would significantly reduce buying petroleum-based products and demand alternative fuels.  If the world’s 8 billion civilians demand that their governments invest in alternative fuels, that would significantly negatively impact the value of petroleum-based products, which are Putin and the Russian Mafia’s bread & butter access to enslave nations. By 2015 so many climate scientists knew we had a problem, and at that time Putin couldn’t enslave all of them and students worldwide, so he allowed the world’s civilians to begin reading about the climate catastrophe. Because they’re all about propaganda, before Putin allowed the climate catastrophe information widespread release (he didn’t label it a climate disaster but climate warming), he and the Russian Mafia blamed it on Americans. Because Putin and the Russian Mafia control the world’s media, their lie has been accepted by our species. Americans didn’t degrade our climate. Putin and the Russian Mafia and before them the Soviet Union did. To survive, our species has to clean up Putin’s mess. Currently Putin is taking his victory lap for flipping the world order, and building and preparing to deploy his multi-million person merc militia to slaughter unprepared, ambushed civilians in America. This is a nightmare for our species and for life on earth. That one man, one nation, one government, and one mafia crew have been allowed to degrade our only climate means our species has failed to protect itself or life on earth. We’re failing to police ourselves, which is a failure we can’t afford.  Humans have the power to make earth uninhabitable. If we refuse to police high status, wealthy people with criminal intent, which is what Putin and the Russian Mafia are, our species and life on earth is doomed. Our job is to analyze New Russian Warfare and plug the gene-based loopholes Putin and the Russian Mafia are exploiting, while simultaneously destroying Putin and the Russian Mafia, educating all people, resetting our species’ priorities to build effective social safety nets for all humans worldwide, change our food systems to adapt to help us adapt on a rapidly heating world, make our food system pro-animal by transitioning to lab-grown meat, and healing our climate. This will likely involve nuclear war. If we refuse the fix because of fear of nuclear war, which fear Putin and the Russian Mafia have propagandized, we’ll self-extinct, driven over the edge by an evil, self-obsessed mafia.

In addition to knowingly degrading our climate, the Soviet Union, and later Putin and the Russian Mafia covertly murdered many millions of innocent people worldwide, through cartels, drugs, wars, gangs, covertly destabilizing targeted governments, corrupting government officials so they couldn’t serve their people, corrupting medical systems to flip them from promoting human health to for-profit institutions, corrupting education systems, spreading lies and propaganda worldwide, using propaganda and influencers to focus people on wealth and/or land at any cost, etc. It will take humanity many thousands of years to repair our climate and while we’re repairing it, we can’t pump significant amounts of green house gases into it. Humanity must take a much needed break to heal. Putin and the Russian Mafia isn’t into letting humanity heal so we must destroy Putin and the Russian Mafia for our species and life on earth to have even a slim chance of medium-term survival.

Human Evolution backstory and how the Soviet Union exploited our hard-wiring

We’re an infant species. Fully modern humans have existed for about 60,000 years. We came into existence around 160,000 years ago, rough estimate, from a pre-existing humanoid species that is now  extinct. We once had dozens of humanoid cousins but they’ve all gone extinct. A humanoid cousin species that went extinct about 40,000 years ago, during the time fully modern humans existed, were Neanderthals. Fully modern humans mated with Neanderthals. All people alive today have Neanderthal DNA. 

Evolutionary biologists call us homo sapiens sapiens. It took us about 100,000 years to lock in features of modernity: the ability to use tools, make art, organize ourselves, execute and communicate complex thoughts and strategies, bury our dead, etc. [To learn more about our species, genus Homo, visit Wikipedia and read about human evolution.] People have had written language for only about 3,200 years, meaning that most of our species hard-earned knowledge and wisdom, beginning from 160,000 when we evolved, to 3,200 years ago, has been lost to time. Homo sapiens sapiens final version, us were established about 60,000 years ago. Early modern homo sapiens, our direct ancestors, were alive 160,000 years ago to 60,000 years ago. So 100,000 years of our direct ancestors knowledge, and the knowledge of our fully modern ancestors learned between 60,000 to 3,200 years ago, all told 166,800 years of species-based knowledge, information and wisdom, has been lost to time. What was saved has been distilled into stories and myths people were able to remember and tell their children.

Because we didn’t have writing, our species has had to relearn what our human ancestors learned 160,000 years ago, and keep relearning it and making similar mistakes: a 166,800 years ground hog day. Our genes are what helped us survive. Without hard-wiring we inherited from genes passed to us by our parents and ancestors, we’d be dead. But genes are tiny. It’s very hard to code anything beyond essential information onto genes. For instance: humanoids who didn’t run from pursuing predators were killed and eaten. Humans who fled when pursued lived long enough to reproduce. All people alive today instinctively run when chased by a predator. The instinct is gene-based. Everyone alive today is descended from people genetically predisposed to flee from pursuing predators. To pass that information to people requires coding onto a tiny gene, which microscopic genetic material is shared between egg and sperm during a successful mating. Because space is limited in eggs and sperm, only life and death instructions, like running from a charging predator, is included. There’s a whole lot of additional life and death information that doesn’t make it onto the limited space of reproductive cells. Natural selection aided life forms out by helping animals develop culture and traditions that are symbiotic with hard-wiring. Think of culture and traditions as soft-wiring and genes as hard-wiring. Many animals have culture and traditions, some are similar to peoples. You see some similarities when animals are attacked. Elephants will form into a circle of adults with their babies in the center when the herd feels threatened. Roosters and and some hens will sound an alarm when predators stalk the flock, to tell the flock to seek shelter. Culture and traditions support hard-wiring, which is why the tradition is sustained.

A crucial, and it’s turned out, enemy exploitable omission in our hard-wiring is how people warn each other about covert danger. Overt danger-knowledge is hard-wired into all people. Infants cry when bitten by a predator, which is an alarm to trigger aid from dominants in the baby’s group. Infants recognize overt danger and can sound an alarm at birth. The recognition is hard-wired in. Covert danger didn’t make it into our hard-wiring, because at the time instructions were hard-wired in millions of years ago, covert threat recognition wasn’t as immediate a need as overt threat recognition, so natural selection attempted a workaround using culture, status, and tradition. Natural selection linked warning of covert danger to status. Our nonhuman, prehuman and ancient human ancestors survived to reproduce by obeying the dominants in their group when those dominants warned about covert danger. Everyone could recognize overt danger but people have a blind spot about covert danger. New Russian Warfare exploits that blind spot. In human culture, which is divided into dominants and subordinates, with dominants having relatively higher status than subordinates, our long dead pre-human ancestors who obeyed dominants when dominants warned of covert danger, lived long enough to reproduce. All people alive today are genetically predisposed at birth to obey dominants, and we’re genetically predisposed at birth to obey dominant’s who warn of covert danger. The flip side to this is the kicker: all people alive today are genetically predisposed to ignore subordinates who warn about covert danger. New Russian Warfare exploits our hard-wired predisposition to ignore perfectly sound warnings if they come from low status people. I know that’s stupid since over half our species is low status. That means we’re not benefiting from all hands on deck because of a genetic hard-wired glitch. That glitch is what has allowed the Soviet Union and Russian Mafia to destabilize nations before the nation’s government knows there’s a serious problem. That’s what’s been done to Americans, Israelis, Sudanese, Haitians, Brits, EU nations, African nations, South and Central America, etc.

In the 20th century when the Soviet Union was roaming the world destroying cultures and peoples, some of their victims recognized them as trouble, pre-attack. Some of those victims warned their villages, towns, and elders. And you know what? In every single case, the warnings of lower status people were ignored. Soviet Union operatives noticed because, well, they were the perps and they knew when they’d been spotted. They were surprised but saw that warnings by low status people were ignored, and only warnings by high status people were paid attention to by the village, town, group. The culture, country, nationality, ethnicity, religion, wealth/poverty, sex, age, etc., didn’t matter. The status of the warn-er was the deciding factor in covert attacks on whether the village, town, community were triggered into launching a defense. 

An alarm must be sounded for people to defend themselves. If an attack is overt, like a bombing, it’s all hands on deck, everyone sees the threat. We’re hard-wired to see overt threats and attacks. If people are covertly attacked, and a high status person sees the attack and sounds the alarm, the people launch a defense. If people are covertly attacked and low status people sound the alarm, the alarm is ignored by the wider society. Not only do higher status individuals in the society ignore the warning of low status people, low status people ignore the warnings of low status people. This is a glitch in human hard-wiring. New Russian Warfare exploits that glitch. The glitch is because our long dead nonhuman, prehuman and ancient ancestors had a lot more experience dealing with lions trying to eat them than Machiavelli-type predators like Putin and the Russian Mafia attacking them. Hard-wiring is needs-based and established long ago. Natural selection saw there was a problem. Genes didn’t have the space and so linked the task of recognizing covert danger to culture and status, not anticipating that 100 million years later a 20th century mafia-government hybrid would weaponize our hard-wiring to try to kill billions of us. Most of the time species aren’t into trying to kill a quarter of their own population. There’s no way natural selection could’ve anticipated Putin and the Russian Mafia.

The Soviet Union learned and applied, and passed onto Putin and the Russian Mafia, that they could covertly hammer low status people all day, every day and the wider society wouldn’t see the attacks, and would ignore the complaints. Since most people are subordinates and since billions of people are low status worldwide, the Soviet Union and later Putin and the Russian Mafia have destabilized nations with the ease of a hot knife going through butter. That’s why I argue that New Russian Warfare attacks us on our hard-wired level, which most of us know nothing about. This blog is to help people better understand how Putin flipped the world order.

The Soviet Union noticed the flaw in our hard-wiring last century and weaponized it as a core component of what Putin and the Russian Mafia call New Russian Warfare. Is the destruction of our democracy our fault? No. People have a genetic blind spot surrounding covert attacks that our enemies exploited. We’ve had written language 3,200 years. It’s possible our ancestors were aware of the blind spot 50,000 years ago but without written language, what they had to pass on information were stories and those needed to be entertaining to be remembered. Most of our ancestors died aged younger than 60. If someone lived to age 60, 100,000 years ago that was probably considered a long life. In 2025 America the average life span is about 79 years. Most people probably died by 50, 100,000 years ago, and started having children in their teens. Our species was spread out over the world, with different languages, dialets, religions, and we had living humanoid cousins. Our ancestors no doubt knew different things than we know but their ability to communicate what they knew to us probably wasn’t their priority. Probably surviving was their priority.

In his book Night, Elie Wiesel told the story of his synagogue’s janitor who, with a group of other low status, poor, immigrant villagers, was rounded up, driven many miles away and shot with the intention of killing them. The janitor described the Nazi’s grabbing babies from their screaming parents, tossing them into the air to use as target practice. Wiesel’s village didn’t believe the janitor, thought him crazy, and ostracized him for telling horrific lies. This was before the death camps were widely known to most Jewish people in the area. The survivor was shot but by playing dead and burrowing under dead and dying victims, survived. He limped, I don’t know how many miles, back to his village. I think I remember reading that he stopped at a farm house along the way and someone bandaged his leg for him. His only thought was to return to his adopted village to warn his adopted people. He made it back. But guess what? They refused to believe him, even though they knew he’d been removed and they saw he’d been shot. The villagers couldn’t comprehend such evil existed as men throwing babies in the air to shoot. None of the victims in that first round up were home-grown villagers, they were immigrants. 

The man was initially astonished, then grew bitter: people actually thought he made up such a vile story as infants being used for target practice. He was well enough liked in the village to work in the synagogue. He wasn’t known to spread lies, especially disturbing lies featuring babies. He resented being being thought insane. Yes he was poor, yes he was an immigrant, but he wasn’t a liar or a beggar: the village disliked beggars. Yes he was a foreign born, a low status Jewish man in a village of Jewish people but that didn’t mean he’d lost his faculties. He worked as the janitor in the synagogue in his adopted town. His low status directly negatively impacted his ability to convince his village to launch a defense or to flee. But in the early 1940s neither he nor his village understood that they were demonstrating a flaw in human hard-wiring – the fact that when covert attacks are spotted by low status people, their community is predisposed to disbelieve them. When the Nazis showed up maybe a year or so later and took the entire village to a death camp, he reportedly told them “I told you so.” He too was taken to the death camp.

Genes are not optimal for passing along essential information but they were the only option available for earth life since life began here billions of years ago. Now, with human writing, people have a shot of more precisely communicating between generations and across races. But before we can take a breathe, we have to survive Putin and the Russian Mafia and repair the damage they and the Soviet Union have done and are doing.
