At the end of May 2025 Putin stepped up attacks against Ukrainians by bombing cities having nothing to do with Ukraine’s defense or military. Putin, with no fear of push back from any leader worldwide, is increasingly flagrantly terrorizing the civilian population of Ukraine. His sense of entitlement and impunity have all kinds of negative implications for Europeans, other West-allied nations including Americans, and any nation with resources Putin and the Russian Mafia covet.
Trump, who in my opinion loathes criticizing Putin, and for years was actively encouraged by the Russian Mafia fronting as businessmen in America1 to view Putin as a friend, apparently felt compelled to say something publicly to try to stop Putin’s unrelenting attacks against Ukrainian civilians. Trump offered a rare public criticism. “He has gone absolutely CRAZY,” The New York Times quoted Trump as saying in their 5/26/2025 article titled “Trump Condemns Putin’s Killings in Ukraine, but Doesn’t Make Him Pay a Price” by David E. Sanger.
Putin didn’t appreciate the criticism. He hit back, hard, covertly threatening to remove Trump from office and the Republicans from power.
On June 3, 2025 The Guardian reported Elon Musk as calling Trump’s tax bill a “disgusting abomination,” in an article titled “Elon Musk Calls Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful’ Tax Bill a ‘Disgusting Abomination,’” by David Smith. I think Putin picked a fight with Trump because Trump dared to publicly criticize him. I think Putin is grooming Trump on how their relationship will go.2 The fact that the administration pivoted nearly immediately to California tells you a lot about who’s calling the shots and what Putin is demanding and getting: escalation, our military on our soil aimed at us. It’s impossible to miss the threat. I believe Putin is targeting California. I’m a Californian and an American so targeting any state or civilians in our country, or in any country, is unacceptable to me.
We’re being squeezed by Putin and the Russian Mafia and we’re not doing any squeezing in return, meaning they won’t stop attacking us until we’re dead. Putin and the Russian Mafia only understand bombs dropped on them so nuclear war must be fought for even some of our people to survive. I am sorry for the bad news.
Putin has now publicly covertly informed Vice President Vance that Putin will support his presidency. “Vance Voices Loyalty to Trump But Says He ‘Understands’ Musk’s Frustration,” by Brian Mann (NPR 6/7/2025). “Impeachment, Epstein and Bitter Acrimony: Trump and Musk Joust in Astonishing Social Media Dual,” by Hugo Lowell and Andrew Roth (The Guardian, 6/5/2025).
I disagree with Governor Newsom who says Trump is hoping for chaos. I think Putin is calling the shots. I can’t prove it. “National Guard Arrives in Los Angeles After Protest Over ICE Raids as Governor Says Trump Is Hoping for Chaos” (The Guardian 6/8/2025). I believe but have no proof that Putin and the Russian Mafia started the 2025 fires in Southern California. If I’m right, we have a problem.
